Country singer Slim Lehart (born 'Richard Hartley'), died Aug 5th, at age 87. He was known as the "Wheeling Cat". He is best known as a member (1970) of the original "Wheeling Jamboree (station WWVA), the second oldest Country music radio broadscast in the US. He started in 1965 as a guest member. In 2014 he was awarded a star with his name on the Capitol Theatre's "Walkway of Stars" in Wheeling, proclsaiming him m sa "lifetime member" of The Jamboree.
