The album title comes from a tenement street in Glasgow, near where Bruce grew up; the street, since demolished, was famous as the largest unbroken houserow in Europe, stretching for over a mile. Formerly a founding member/ second guitarist and singer in legendary SF group (over-hyped by Columbia Records) Moby Grape. He was the son of legendary Academy Award-winning "Golden Age" actress Loretta Young, who won the "Academy Award for Best Actress" in 1947 for her role in "Farmer's Daughter".
A founding member of The Association, Terry Kirkman died Sept 23rd, at age 83. He joined the group in Feb 1965, and left in late 1972. He wrote several of their big hits: 'Cherish' {Cherish} and 'Everything That Touches You' {Jan 1968}, as well as this B-side, which also charted (barely)

Their second #1 hit in the UK / * Wilson has stated that this is the BEST song collboration that he and Love had. Love: "He starts pounding at the piano, I came up with some words and we got a chorus together, basically a bunch of doo-wop-inspired harmonies - we created thsat whole song in 15 minutes."
