Rebroadcast of the Denny Laine (Moody Blues, Wings) Interview Show from 1/8/2019 THIS IS A REBROADCAST OF A SHOW FROM 1/8/2019. I've regretted not re-airing this last December as a tribute to Denny Laine upon his death on 12/5/2023. I've got a week off, so let's do it now! Denny Laine spent his early days in the first incarnation of the Moody Blues (singing the hit "Go Now"), and after stints in a series of lesser-known bands, as well as Ginger Baker's Air Force, was invited by his old pal Paul McCartney to be part of Paul's new rock combo Wings. Denny spent the next 10 years, Wings' entire life span, playing guitar, bass, keyboards, singing and touring with the band. He co-wrote many songs with McCartney as well. Denny continued to be a member of the British rock royalty, releasing about a dozen solo albums since his first in 1973. WARNING: Tickets are no longer available for the Denny's show at Boston's City Winery in 2019.
