Citizen Bravo is Matt Brennan. Born in Nova Scotia and raised in New Brunswick, he immigrated to Scotland at the age of 22 to study and make music. Bimstein's "alternative classical" music combines acoustic instruments with found sounds and voices to paint portraits and tell stories. Bimstein led the new wave band Phil 'n' the Blanks. Now he resides in Springdale, Utah, where he served two terms as mayor.
