Originally on his debut album, " Two Steps from the Blues', released Jan 1961. It consisted of five songs recorded between 1956 and 1960 and seven songs recorded in two sessions from August 3 to November 12, 1960.
Led by Unnatural Axe guitarist, Tommy White / * - even though Nokie Edwards of The Ventures wrote it; it first appeared on The Ventures "Surfing" album in May 1964
* - although popularizsed by the Ventures' HUGE hit single {#2!/ 07-60}, which was spelled on the original single as 'Walk – Don't Run' - to complicate matters further, the original was spelled as "Walk, Don't Run!"

Shamley Records was a subsidiary of Uni Records; this was their last release - Fred Cole would go on to form several groups; Whizeagle, Zipper, King Bee, The Rats, Western Front and most notably Dead Moon.
Also recorded by the Fullerton, CA Garage group "The Fabs" (1966, Cottonball label), who are mistakenly considered from Texas, because "Cottonball" is a Texas label.
