Live extended version of a song originally released on her previous album, Mister Heartbreak. Anderson does lead vocals on this version (the original was performed by poet William S. Burroughs).
The internet is not very clear about where this song came from. But clearly the song was adapted from the country-pop hit I've Been Down So Long (It Looks Like Up To Me), which was originally on the album Nancy & Lee -- a collaborative studio album by Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood, released on Reprise Records in 1968. That's all the discographical details I can muster.
