Colleen Fernandez, alto flute. For alto flute and fixed media; the fixed media features audio samples from Balaban/duduk (a double reed woodwind instrument indigenous to Azerbaijan/Armenia) and flute. Inspired by a poem by the composer's uncle, Iranian poet Yadollah Royaee.
